Pick 4 Draw Delivers Quad 7s; Thousands Of Illinois Lottery Players Share More Than $7 Million in Prizes

May 4th, 2026

CHICAGO, May 4, 2026 — If seven is your lucky number and you played Pick 4 yesterday, it’s time to check your ticket — you could be among the thousands of Illinois Lottery players who won a share of more than $7.1 million in total prizes.

The winning numbers for the Pick 4 midday drawing on Sunday, May 3, were 7-7-7-7, with a FIREBALL number of 6.

This rare number combination triggered a statewide wave of wins. More than 3,300 winning tickets were sold for the drawing, including over 2,800 players who each collected $2,500. The top prize of $50,000 was claimed by an iLottery player.

Additional big wins included 22 players who each won $25,000, eight tickets that paid $20,000, another eight winners who took home $15,000 each, and 29 tickets worth $10,000.

The last time a quad number appeared in Pick 4 was in August 2025, making this drawing a notable moment for players across the state.

Retailers that sold winning tickets are also celebrating, earning a 1% bonus based on the prize amount of each winning ticket sold at their location.

Winners have one year from the draw date to claim their prize. The Illinois Lottery encourages all lucky winners to sign the back of their ticket and store it in a safe place until they are ready to claim their prize.

Pick 3 and Pick 4 plus FIREBALL are Illinois-only games with two draws daily. To play both Pick 3 and Pick 4 games, players can select their numbers and a style of play, and then choose the amount they would like to wager on the draw. Pick 3 and Pick 4 drawings are conducted daily at 12:40 PM and 9:22 PM CST.
