CHICAGO, March 31, 2026 — If you purchased a Lucky Day Lotto® ticket in Northern Illinois yesterday, you might want to check your numbers—you could be the state’s newest millionaire.
The winning ticket was purchased at Cheeze Shack, located at 545 Sheridan Rd. in Winthrop Harbor, Illinois.
The ticket matched all five numbers in the Monday, March 30 evening drawing to capture the game’s $1,050,000 jackpot. The winning numbers were 2-7-16-41-45.
For selling the jackpot-winning ticket, the retailer will receive a bonus of 1% of the prize amount, totaling $10,500.
In total, nearly 65,000 Lucky Day Lotto tickets won prizes in yesterday’s drawings, with more than $1.2 million awarded to Illinois Lottery players statewide.
Winners have one year from the draw date to claim their prize. The Illinois Lottery encourages all winners to sign the back of their ticket and keep it in a secure location until they are ready to claim their winnings.
