Big Illinois Lottery Winners Over The Weekend
CHICAGO, January 26, 2026 — It was a winning weekend for Illinois Lottery players, with nearly $12.8 million in prizes won across three major games, including an $11.6 million Lotto® jackpot, a $700,000 Lucky Day Lotto® jackpot, and a $481,907 Fast Play Twenty 20s jackpot.
The largest prize of the weekend came from the Illinois-only game, Lotto, where one lucky player matched all six numbers in the Saturday, January 24 drawing to win the $11.6 million jackpot—instantly creating one of the state’s newest multimillionaires and marking the largest Illinois Lottery jackpot won so far this year.
The winning Lotto ticket was purchased at truenorth, located at 2345 W. Bartlett Road in Bartlett, Illinois. The winning numbers were: 5-6-8-27-40-50.

For selling the winning ticket, truenorth will receive a bonus of $116,000, equal to one percent of the prize amount.
This latest Lotto jackpot run, which began on August 26, 2025, sold nearly 2.86 million winning tickets, awarded more than $25.7 million in prizes, and created five Illinois Lotto millionaires.
A big payday also awaits an Illinois Lottery player after winning $481,907 playing Fast Play Twenty 20s online on Saturday, January 24. This marks the largest Fast Play Twenty 20s jackpot won so far this year.
Twenty 20s is a progressive Fast Play game with a jackpot that begins at $50,000 and grows with each ticket sold statewide, both in-store and online, until the jackpot is won. So far this month, more than 42,000 winning Twenty 20s tickets have been sold, netting players over $2.3 million in prizes.
Another Illinois Lottery player is celebrating after winning a $700,000 Lucky Day Lotto jackpot. The winning ticket was purchased for the Friday, January 23 evening drawing at a Shell gas station, located at 5201 N. Western Ave. in Chicago.

The lucky player matched all five numbers—10-12-14-19-41—to claim the jackpot prize. Already this year, nearly 774,000 winning Lucky Day Lotto tickets have been sold, awarding players more than $5 million in prizes statewide.
Illinois Lottery winners have one year from the date of the winning draw to claim their prize. Winners are encouraged to sign the back of their ticket immediately and keep it in a safe place until it is claimed.

Illinois Lotto is a $2 jackpot game offering three chances to become a millionaire. Each play includes the Jackpot drawing and two separate $1,000,000 drawings: Lotto Million 1 and Lotto Million 2. The game is played Monday, Thursday, and Saturday.
Fast Play games can be played at any time—no numbers to pick, no play slip to complete, no scratching, and no waiting for a drawing. There are currently 20 Fast Play games available at various price points.
