Illinois Lottery Player Wins $850,000 Lucky Day Lotto Jackpot Online
CHICAGO, May 13, 2025 – Someone in the state of Illinois just got a whole lot richer. A lucky online Illinois Lottery player hit Monday’s midday Lucky Day Lotto jackpot, winning $850,000.
The winning ticket was purchased online for the May 12 midday drawing, and matched all five numbers to score the $850,000 jackpot prize. The winning numbers were: 6-11-23-28-30.
More than 23,700 winning Lucky Day Lotto tickets were purchased for Monday’s midday drawing, netting Illinois Lottery players over $917,000 in prizes.
So far this year, over 3.8 million winning Lucky Day Lotto tickets have been sold, with total prizes amounting to more than $24.5 million for Illinois Lottery players.
The lucky winner has one year from the date of the winning draw to claim their prize. The Illinois Lottery encourages the winner to write their name on the back of the winning ticket and keep it in a safe place until they’re ready to claim their prize.
Lucky Day Lotto is an Illinois-only game with twice daily drawings at 12:40 p.m. and 9:22 p.m.
