‘Strike Gold’ With The Illinois Lottery This St. Patrick’s Day At Two Of Chicagoland’s ‘Luckiest’ Retailers

CHICAGO, March 12, 2025 – This St. Patrick’s Day, the Illinois Lottery is giving players the chance to ‘strike gold’ at two of Chicagoland’s luckiest lottery retailers!

On Monday, March 17, Illinoisans are invited to test their luck, win exciting prizes, and enjoy interactive experiences at two stores that rank among the state’s top 10 ‘winningest’ lottery retailers of 2024.

The festivities will feature a larger-than-life ‘Pot O’ Gold’ filled with oversized gold coins. Each player will have the chance to reach into the pot and pull out a coin, revealing a potential prize. 

Prizes include:

  • Prize packs worth $100
  • Instant Tickets
  • Exclusive Illinois Lottery-branded merchandise

If you’re feeling lucky this St. Patrick’s Day, join the festivities at one of the following locations on Monday, March 17:

  • Lucky Mart: 2900 W. 87th St., Chicago
    • 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. 
  • Kostner Korner: 4356 W. Howard St., Skokie
    • 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Both Lucky Mart and Kostner Korner rank among Illinois’ top four ‘luckiest’ Illinois Lottery retailers, having sold the most winning tickets in 2024 – collectively totaling nearly 336,000 winning lottery tickets.

NOTES:

  • All participants must be 18 years of age or older
  • An Illinois Lottery spokesperson will be available on-site
  • The event will continue while supplies and quantities last
