CHICAGO, March 12, 2025 – An Illinois Lottery retailer is celebrating after selling a jackpot-winning Lucky Day Lotto ticket worth $500,000 Monday night.

The ticket was purchased for the March 10 evening Lucky Day Lotto drawing at Schnucks, located at 4860 Hononegah Road in Roscoe, IL.

The lucky player matched all five numbers in Monday’s evening drawing to score the $500,000 jackpot prize. The winning numbers were: 6-18-26-27-33.

More than 20,000 winning tickets were sold for the Lucky Day Lotto Monday evening drawing, amounting to over $547,000 for Illinois Lottery players.

For selling the winning ticket, Schnucks in Roscoe will receive a one percent bonus of the prize amount, or $5,000.

Roscoe is located about 11 miles northwest of Rockford, seven miles south of Beloit, Wis., and is home to just over 10,000 people.

This isn’t the first time the retailer has sold a big winning lottery ticket. In January 2023, the same Schnucks sold a $250,000 winning scratch-off ticket.

Already this year, over 1.8 million winning Lucky Day Lotto tickets have been sold, with total prizes amounting to more than $12.5 million for Illinois Lottery players.

The lucky winner has one year from the date of the winning draw to claim their prize. The Illinois Lottery encourages the winner to write their name on the back of their winning ticket and keep it in a safe place until they’re ready to claim their prize.

Lucky Day Lotto is an Illinois-only game with twice daily drawings at 12:40 p.m. and 9:22 p.m. Tickets for the game can be purchased in-store, online, or on the Illinois Lottery app. For more information or to buy tickets online, please visit IllinoisLottery.com.
