CHICAGO, December 2, 2025 — Illinois Lottery players have another exciting opportunity to win big as the Powerball jackpot climbs to an astounding $775 million for tomorrow night’s drawing—marking the second-largest Powerball prize of the year.

To celebrate the massive jackpot, the Illinois Lottery is bringing its popular Powerball Ticket Grab Challenge to Springfield on Wednesday, December 3, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The event will take place at Qik n EZ, located at 1101 Stevenson Drive.

Participants will have a few thrilling seconds inside the Lottery’s fan-favorite Ticket Grab Machine to snatch as many tickets as possible. More than 800 free Powerball tickets will be up for grabs during the challenge.

Can’t make it to the event? Powerball tickets are available at nearly 7,000 retailers across Illinois. Don’t miss your chance to play for a life-changing prize in Wednesday’s $775 million drawing.

Every Illinois Lottery ticket supports local communities. For Powerball, approximately 40 cents of every dollar spent goes to support K-12 education and other good causes. Since 1985, the Illinois Lottery has contributed more than $25 billion to education funding in Illinois.

Powerball tickets are $2 each, and players have the option to add the Power Play for an additional $1 for the chance to multiply non-jackpot prizes.
