Central Illinois Has A New Millionaire: $1.45 Million Winning Lucky Day Lotto Ticket Sold In Peoria Heights

CHICAGO, February 12, 2024 – Someone in Central Illinois will be feeling like a million bucks after buying a jackpot-winning Lucky Day Lotto ticket worth $1.45 million.
The lucky Illinois Lottery player matched all five numbers, 2-4-22-36-42, to score the $1,450,000 jackpot prize in the Friday, February 9 evening drawing.
The winning ticket was sold at the BP gas station at 4430 North Prospect Road in Peoria Heights.
For selling the winning ticket, the BP in Peoria Heights will receive a selling bonus of one percent of the prize amount, or $14,500.
Over 49,000 winning Lucky Day Lotto tickets were purchased for the Friday, February 9 evening drawing.
The Illinois Lottery encourages all lucky winners to write their name on the back of their ticket and keep it in a safe place until they’re ready to claim their prize. Winners have one year from the date of the winning draw in which to claim their prize.
Lucky Day Lotto is an Illinois-only game with twice daily drawings at 12:40 p.m. and 9:22 p.m.
