CHICAGO, October 10, 2024 – An Illinois Lottery retailer is celebrating after selling a winning Lotto ticket worth $1 million earlier this week.

The ticket was purchased for the Monday, October 7 Lotto drawing at a 7-Eleven on Chicago’s northwest side, located at 5037 West Lawrence Avenue.

The winning ticket matched all six numbers in Monday’s Lotto Million 1 drawing to score the $1 million prize. The winning numbers in the Lotto Million 1 drawing were: 7-20-24-27-35-39.

For selling the winning ticket, the 7-Eleven on West Lawrence Avenue will receive a one percent bonus of the prize amount, or $10,000.

This is the fourteenth Illinois Lottery player in 2024 to win a million dollars or more with the Lotto game.

Winners have one year from the date of the winning draw in which to claim their prize. The Illinois Lottery encourages all lucky winners to write their name on the back of their ticket and keep it in a safe place until they’re ready to claim their prize.

Lotto is an Illinois-only game that is played three times a week on Monday, Thursday, and Saturday. As well as the regular drawing, Lotto offers two additional drawings: Lotto Million 1 and Lotto Million 2. These are additional opportunities for players to match six numbers to win a $1 million prize.

Tickets for the game can be purchased in-store, online, or on the Illinois Lottery app. For more information or to buy tickets online, please visit IllinoisLottery.com.
