$700,000 Winning Lucky Day Lotto Ticket Sold In Crystal Lake

CHICAGO, January 29, 2024 – A neighborhood convenience store in Crystal Lake has some big news. They just sold a jackpot-winning Lucky Day Lotto ticket worth $700,000.

The winning ticket was sold at Convenient Liquor & Wine, located at 201 W. Virginia St. in Crystal Lake for the Friday, January 26 evening drawing.

A lucky Illinois Lottery player matched all five numbers, 1-11-27-34-39, to score the $700,000 jackpot prize. 

For selling the winning ticket, Convenient Liquor & Wine will receive a selling bonus of one percent of the prize amount, or $7,000.

Over 25,000 winning Lucky Day Lotto tickets were purchased for the Friday, January 26 evening drawing.

The Illinois Lottery encourages all lucky winners to write their name on the back of their ticket and keep it in a safe place until they’re ready to claim their prize. Winners have one year from the date of the winning draw in which to claim their prize.

Lucky Day Lotto is an Illinois-only game with twice daily drawings at 12:40 p.m. and 9:22 p.m.
