$200,000 Lucky Day Lotto Prize Won in Palos Heights
CHICAGO – If you recently purchased a Lucky Day Lotto ticket, you may want to check it right away!
A gas station in Morton and a gas station in Ingleside each sold a winning Lucky Day Lotto ticket in the Friday, March 13, evening drawing. Those two lucky winners will split the $600,000 jackpot, resulting in a $300,000 prize for each. Two days later, in the Sunday, March 15, midday drawing, a convenience store in Palos Heights sold a $200,000 winning ticket in the Sunday, March 15, midday draw.
The winning tickets in the Friday, March 13, evening draw were purchased at Circle K, 1801 N. Morton Ave., in Morton and at a Mobil, 500 Rollins Rd., in Ingleside. Both tickets matched all five numbers – 16 -27- 33 - 38 - 40 – to win the jackpot. Each retailer will receive a bonus of $3,000, or one percent of the prize amount, for selling the winning tickets. More than 21,400 other prizes, ranging from $1 to $5,000, were won in this Lucky Day Lotto drawing. In all, players won more than $655,700 in this drawing.
The winning Lucky Day Lotto ticket in the Sunday March 15, midday draw was purchased at 7-Eleven, 6350 W. 135th St., in Palos Heights, and matched all five numbers – 04- 25 - 26 - 34 - 38 – to win a $200,000 prize. The retailer will receive a bonus of $2,000, or one percent of the prize amount, for selling the winning ticket. More than 8,800 other prizes, ranging from $1 to $200, were won in this Lucky Day Lotto drawing. In all, players won more than $219,900 in this drawing.
The Illinois Lottery urges the lucky winners to sign the back of the ticket and keep it in a safe place until they call 1-800-252-1775. Guidelines for mailing in claims are available on the Illinois Lottery’s website in the Winning section of the page. Winners have one year from the original drawing date to claim their prize.
