$300,000 Lucky Day Lotto Prize Won in Skokie

Aurora, Calumet Park Players Share $200,000 Lucky Day Lotto Prize

If you recently purchased a Lucky Day Lotto ticket, you may want to check it right away! A convenience store in Skokie sold a $300,000 winning ticket in the Saturday, January 11, midday draw, and a convenience store in Aurora and a liquor store in Calumet Park each sold winning Lucky Day Lotto tickets in the Sunday, January 12, evening drawing. Those two lucky winners will split the $200,000 jackpot, resulting in a $100,000 prize for each.

The winning Lucky Day Lotto ticket in the Saturday January 11, midday draw was purchased at 7-Eleven, 7950 N. Crawford Ave., in Skokie, and matched all five numbers – 08- 11 - 26 - 28 - 39 – to win a $300,000 prize. The retailer will receive a bonus of $3,000, or one percent of the prize amount, for selling the winning ticket. More than 13,000 other prizes, ranging from $1 to $200, were won in this Lucky Day Lotto drawing. In all, players won more than $331,500 in this drawing.

The winning tickets in the Sunday, January 12, evening draw were purchased at Fiesta Food Mart, 220 Jackson St., in Aurora and Rainbow Food & Liquor, 1355 W. 127th St., in Calumet Park. Both tickets matched all five numbers – 11 -17- 18 - 26 - 27 – to win the jackpot. Each retailer will receive a bonus of $1,000, or one percent of the prize amount, for selling the winning tickets. More than 15,100 other prizes, ranging from $1 to $200, were won in this Lucky Day Lotto drawing. In all, players won more than $241,000 in this drawing.

The Illinois Lottery urges the lucky winners to sign the back of the ticket and keep it in a safe place until they call 1-800-252-1775 or visit one of the Lottery’s five Prize Centers in Chicago, Des Plaines, Rockford, Springfield or Fairview Heights.
