CHICAGO – If you bought a Lucky Day Lotto ticket, you may want to check it right away! A convenience store in Chicago and a liquor store in Westchester each sold winning Lucky Day Lotto tickets in the Saturday, December 21, evening drawing. The two lucky winners will split the $1,100,000 jackpot, resulting in a $550,000 prize for each. A gas station in Chicago sold a $150,000 winning ticket in the Sunday, December 22, evening draw.
The winning tickets in the Saturday, December 21 evening draw were purchased at Happy Grocery, 1065 W. Granville Ave., in Chicago and J D Food & Liquor, 10147 W. Roosevelt Rd., in Westchester. Both tickets matched all five numbers – 07 -16- 36 - 43 - 45 – to win the jackpot. Each retailer will receive a bonus of $5,500, or one percent of the prize amount, for selling the winning tickets. More than 33,000 prizes, ranging from $1 to $200, were won in this Lucky Day Lotto drawing. In all, players won more than $1,180,300 in this drawing.
The winning Lucky Day Lotto ticket in the Sunday, December 22, evening draw was purchased at Mobil, 6000 S. Western Ave., in Chicago, and matched all five numbers – 18- 20 - 22 - 32 - 45 – to win a $150,000 prize. The retailer will receive a bonus of $1,500, or one percent of the prize amount, for selling the winning ticket. More than 12,300 prizes, ranging from $1 to $200, were won in this Lucky Day Lotto drawing. In all, players won more than $183,700 in this drawing.
The Illinois Lottery urges the lucky winners to sign the back of the ticket and keep it in a safe place until they call 1-800-252-1775 or visit one of the Lottery’s five Prize Centers in Chicago, Des Plaines, Rockford, Springfield or Fairview Heights.
