$3,000,000 Mega Millions Winner!

CRESTWOOD, IL – If you bought a Mega Millions ticket is Crestwood, you may want to check it right away! A car wash in Crestwood sold a $3,000,000 winning Mega Millions ticket for the Friday, October 18, evening drawing.

The winning ticket was purchased at Delta Sonic Carwash, 13700 S. Cicero Ave., in Crestwood and matched all five numbers – 18- 58 - 60 - 65 - 67 – but not the Mega Ball number, which was 20, to win a $1,000,000 prize. The ticket also matched the Megaplier number drawn, which was 3, turning the prize into $3,000,000. The retailer will receive a bonus of $30,000, or one percent of the prize amount, for selling the winning ticket.

The Illinois Lottery urges the lucky winner to sign the back of the ticket and keep it in a safe place until they visit one of the Lottery’s five Prize Centers in Chicago, Des Plaines, Rockford, Springfield or Fairview Heights. Winners have one year from the original drawing date to claim their prize.

More than 13,900 prizes, ranging from $2 to $3,000,000, were won in this Mega Millions drawing. In all, players won more than $3,075,000 in this drawing. Mega Millions drawings are held on Tuesday and Friday. For more information or to play online, please visit illinoislottery.com.
