More than 400 schools participate as Unified Champion Schools. Unified Champion Schools work to further develop inclusive learning and social environments for all students, with and without disabilities.
Health and Personal Development
In addition to sports competitions, Special Olympics Illinois provides health education as well as leadership and personal development opportunities to athletes.
A Community for All
Special Olympics Illinois supports a community of more than 55,000 traditional athletes, Young Athletes, Unified partners, coaches, volunteers, and more.
Helping Everyone Compete
Special Olympics Illinois serves athletes of all ages, from Young Athletes who can begin at 2 years old to traditional athletes who are 8 to 80+ years old.
