A need for caregivers

Currently, 312,000 caregivers in Illinois are providing 481 million hours of unpaid care valued at over $9.8 billion, and there are 99,460 healthcare aides in Illinois, but that number needs to increase by 19.2% to be able to provide for future cases.

A rising diagnosis

In 2020, 230,000 people aged 65+ were living with Alzheimer’s. It is estimated that by 2025, approximately 260,000 people will be living with the disease.

A need for a cure

Since 2019, there have been 3,954 people succumbing to Alzheimer's in Illinois.

Alzheimer’s & hospice care

Since 2017, in Illinois, there have been approximately 9,795 people in hospice living with a primary diagnosis of dementia.
